2006 AZTRACK Alumni Annual Excursion
USATF National Track and Field Championships
It was a wet, hot and wild trip this year.
Starting off with the best American track and field competition on
American soil, we all enjoyed many great performances.
The grand finale for the weekend, climaxed with
a group of us at the “UGLY MONKEY”. Yes,
you read it correct, we finished off the weekend drinking, socializing and
having a wild time at the UGLY MONKEY.
Compliments of our friend, Bryan Carrol at
local T & F sporting equipment supplier, we were well taken care of. We had an overwhelming attendance and by
nights end, over 40 of our closest friends had come by for a drink. This motley crew of hacks and hero’s was led
by our infamous “social gathering” leader, Brenda. With much encouragement from Mike L., Nista, and the generous contributions from Bryan C., we had
shots, and drinks delivered all night long.
Some of the highlights were Kathleen D. and friends monopolizing the
“Stripper” Poles inside. One mistake we
made was saying we were going to leave when the bar closed at 1am….well, bars
in
